Lithuanian minister offers apology to Latvian counterpart over 'paranoiac fears' in Vilnius

Lithuania's Agriculture Minister Virginija Baltraitienė on Monday made a public apology to her Latvian counterpart, Janis Duklavs, over the situation in connection to the recent dinner and hunting activity in Lithuania.
Latvia's Agriculture Minister Janis Duklavs stated he would not answer any “silly” questions from journalists about the dinner and hunting activity in Lithuania together with his Lithuanian counterpart, a few businessmen and other individuals. Meanwhile the Lithuanian opposition has called for an interpellation against the Lithuanian minister.
