In the late 1940s, a substitute teacher in St Justin’s High School, a Catholic grade school, was asking students about their career goals. Much to her surprise Johnny Unitas said that his ambition was to become a professional football player.
The Lithuanian parliament on Tuesday asked the Constitutional Court to look at whether it is necessary to amend the Constitution to allow dual citizenship for people who left for EU or NATO member states after Lithuania regained independence in 1990.
The proposal by UK Prime Minister Theresa May for European Union (EU) citizens present in the country should ease tensions among the Lithuanians living in great Britain, says Daiva Asanavičiūtė, the leader of the local Lithuanian community.
