Two irregular migrants tried to cross into Lithuania in past day

Border guards stopped two foreign nationals trying to access Lithuania unlawfully from Belarus over the past day, the State Border Guard Service (VSAT) reports.

Latvia reported three illegal crossing attempts to cross into the country on Tuesday. The Polish border service said one irregular migrant was pushed back at its border with Belarus a day earlier.

According to the VSAT, a total of 22 irregular migrants tried to enter Lithuania from Belarus at unauthorised locations this year.
