Among those polled, 51% said they would approve of a 4-day work week instead of a five-day one, while 35% opposed that and 14% had no opinion on this matter.

The shorter work week finds more support among women, young people under 30 and people aged from 30 to 49. Lithuanians over 50 and non-working pensioners are relatively more likely to oppose the proposal.

Pollster Baltijos Tyrimai interviewed 1,018 Lithuanian residents aged 18 and older on 16-27 November 2023.
