Ministry: revival of Lithuania’s only motorsport track underway

Lithuania’s only motor racing circuit Nemunas žiedas will receive an investment that will allow the facility to be renovated and attract athletes to return to the track.

The interinstitutional memorandum on the reconstruction of Nemuno žiedas was signed Tuesday by Minister of Education, Science and Sport Jurgita Šiugždinienė, Minister of Transport and Communications Marius Skuodis, Mayor of Kaunas District Valerijus Makūnas and President of the Lithuanian Association of Technical Sports Federations Karolis Ramoška.
