"Aiming to give an adequate response to emerging security threats, which are becoming increasingly challenging because of technological progress in the field of logistics infrastructure, close cooperation among the civil and military, private and public sectors is one of the key priorities in the context of NATO's current security environment," said Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Andrius Krivas.

According to Krivas, the workshop sets an excellent example of collective cooperation. It is co-organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania and NATO, and brings together civil and military transport experts.

During the event, over 120 civil and military experts from the 28 NATO member countries and 5 partner countries will exchange information on logistical challenges, their impact on hybrid wars and measures of collective security. The workshop will be attended by experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Lithuania, the Lithuanian Armed Forces, the Communications Regulatory Authority of Lithuania, the Civil Aviation Administration, JSC Lithuanian Railways, etc. The experts will present Lithuania's input to civil aviation, communications regulation and critical infrastructure protection.
