On Thursday, three new ministers of the Lithuanian Government led by Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius took oath at the Seimas.
Three new Lithuanian ministers sworn into office

Oaths were taken by Minister of Agriculture Virginija Baltraitienė (Labour Party), Minister of Social Security and Labour Rimante Šalaševičiūtė (Social Democratic Party) and Minister of Environment Kęstutis Trečiokas (Order and Justice Party).

Oaths were administered by Parliament Speaker Loreta Graužinienė. The ministers were congratulated by the prime minister.
