Sweden's Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom is visiting Lithuania on Friday.

Her agenda in Vilnius includes meetings with Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius and President Dalia Grybauskaitė.

The meeting between Wallstrom and Linkevičius should address bilateral issues, regional cooperation, the situation in Ukraine, the relations with Russia, the regional security situation including the threats in connection to information security, partnership in the field of energy, the Foreign Ministry said.

Wallstrom was appointed as Sweden's foreign minister following the elections that took place in the fall of 2014. This is her first visit to Lithuania.
