Winter time will be in place until the end of March.

Although the Lithuanian government, the European Commission and the European Parliament back the idea to end time-changing two times a year, the majority of member states have not decided on the issue yet.

In March, 2019, the EP endorsed a proposal for member states to end time-switching as of 2021. member states that willing to keep summer time would change clocks the last time on the last of March of 2021, and those willing to stay keep winter time would make the last change on the last Sunday of October, 2021.

Winter and summer time is introduced to make better use of daylight but critics say such time changes might be bad for people's health.
