Along with her congratulations to the new Polish Parliament Speaker Radoslaw Sikorski, Lithuanian Seimas Speaker Loreta Graužinienė has invited him to pay a visit to Lithuania on 11 March 2015 and commemorate together the 25th anniversary of the restoration of the Lithuanian state (the Act of the Re-Establishment of the State of Lithuania was signed on 11 March 1990 - Elta).

"Dear Mr. Speaker, please accept my warm congratulations on becoming the parliament speaker of the Republic of Poland. Your extensive and internationally-recognised diplomatic work expertise will be a solid basis for successful leadership of parliament and further development of inter-parliamentary cooperation," Graužinienė said in her letter of congratulations.

Seimas speaker wished Sikorski all the best in his work as the leader of the Sejm of Poland.

Former Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Sikorski has been recently appointed as the speaker of the country's parliament.
