All 21 students between ages of 14 and 17 along with two accompanying persons live in the war-struck zones of Mariupol, Bakhmut or have been relocated from seized territories, the Lithuanian Center of Children and Youth said.

The Ukrainian group will attend a week-long training on European values, which will include activities with their peers from two Vilnius gymnasiums, the Lithuanian Center of Children and Youth and the Lithuanian Pupil Union. Practical workshops will be held to improve their leadership skills and plan initiatives they would like to implement back home.

The Ukrainian group is planned to visit the parliament and the President's Office, as well as meet with Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius.
