The nomination of Social Democratic MP Julius Sabatauskas for justice minister cannot be proposed to the president, says Ramūnas Karbauskis, the leader of the ruling Peasant and Green Union.

"I do not think the candidate could be submitted to the president, as our political group will probably come up with a candidate who is younger and has a different type of experience," Karbauskis told BNS on Monday.
