"On medics' recommendations, the prime minister cannot go to work yet," his spokesman Tomas Berzinskas told BNS on Wednesday.

Skvernelis will be substituted by Energy Minister Zygimantas Vaiciunas.

Skvernelis announced in late August that he had been diagnosed with lymphoma and would not be able to work on days when he would undergo treatment.
