Ex-Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite, journalist Edmundas Jakilaitis and businessman Robertas Dargis have been named Lithuania's most influential persons, according to the results of the final elite poll, published on Wednesday.

They received 715, 687 and 659 votes respectively. Compared to the last year, Grybauskaite retained her leading position, Jakilaitis rose from the fourth position to the second and Dargis went up from the sixth to the third position.

Arvydas Sabonis, president of the Lithuanian Basketball federation, and Ramunas Karbauskis, leader of the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union, also got into the TOP-5 with 650 and 579 votes respectively.

They are followed by basketball coach Sarunas Jasikevicius, Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis, journalist Andrius Tapinas, President Gitanas Nauseda and Monika Garbaciauskaite-Budriene, the general manger of Lithuania's public broadcaster LRT.

The poll of 1,013 people was carried out by the Reitingai magazine for the delfi.lt on June 20 through July 20.
