At around 6.30 a.m. on March 9, a swastika and several inscriptions "Jews out", Russians out" and "Heil Hitler Hitler" were spotted on an electrical switchboard near Raudondvaris Road in Kaunas.

The next day, at around 10.30 a.m., several swastikas were spotted inside and outside a shop on the same street.

At around 8 a.m. on Friday, the local police detained a Kaunas male resident, born in 1995. He is under investigation into alleged incitement to hatred and is facing a fine, freedom restriction, arrest or up to 2 years in prison.
