Lithuania's Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis is the country's most popular politician after his Peasant and Green Union won October general elections, a poll showed Saturday

68 percent of those surveyed said they had a favourable opinion of Skvernelis, against 9 percent who view him unfavourably, according to a Vilmorus survey published by Lietuvos Rytas daily.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė was rated favourably by 61 percent of respondents. The survey was conducted on December 2-10.
