The results from 1,297 out of 1,922 poling stations showed the Peasants and Greens in the lead in 34 single-member constituencies and the conservative Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats in only nine constituencies.

The Liberal Movement's candidates were leading in six constituencies, the Social Democrats in five, and the Order and Justice Party in three.

The Homeland Union won 20 seats in the multi-member constituency two weeks ago, just ahead of the Peasant and Green Union with 19 seats. The Social Democrats came in third with 13 seats, followed by the Liberal Movement with eight, and the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania – Christian Families Alliance and the Order and Justice Party with five each.

Three candidates -- one of the Homeland Union and two of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania won an outright majority of votes in single-member constituencies in the first round.
