Lithuania's new Parliamentary Speaker Viktoras Pranckietis will make his first foreign trip to Latvia.

In his words, the working visit to the neighboring country is scheduled for next week, December 6.

Pranckietis told Žinių Radijas on Wednesday morning that the agenda in Riga included visits with Latvia's President Raimonds Vejonis and Parliamentary Speaker Inara Murniece.

Pranckietis was elected to the post on November 14.
