French weapons manufacturer Nexter has offered infantry combat vehicles with two types of gun system configurations - 30 mm guns or a latest-generation remote-controlled Nexter 40 mm cannon - to the Lithuanian military.

According to lzinios.lt, the infantry fighting vehicles offered by Nexter are some of the most competitive 8X8 platforms in the market, both in terms of price and configuration. The vehicle is an integral part of the French army's technical equipment and has been tested in combat in Afghanistan, Lebanon, Mali, and more recently in the Central African Republic.
