Lawmakers from Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Finland, Sweden, Lithuania and Norway will discuss parliaments' role in strengthening security and democratic values.

During the meeting's two sessions, parliamentary representatives from NB8 countries will share their views on the power of parliamentary diplomacy, discuss the experience and practice of their parliament, and will also speak about challenges NB8 countries are facing and their influence on legislation changes, the Lithuanian Seimas said.

The chairwoman of the Dutch House of Representatives' Foreign Affairs Committee will attend the meeting as a guest.

NB8 countries regularly cooperate since 1992. Meetings of their representatives often focus on international political affairs and various practical cooperation issues.
