On 9-15 November, fighter aircraft of the NATO Air Policing Mission in the Baltic States performed one A-Scramble to intercept a foreign aircraft in international airspace above the Baltic Sea, the Ministry of National Defence reports.

On 13 November NATO fighter jets intercepted an IL-20 electronic intelligence aircraft of the Russian Federation heading for Kaliningrad Oblast and then returning to the mainland of the Russian Federation. The aircraft was flying in accordance with a pre-filed flight plan, its pilots were not using onboard transponders but maintained radio communication with air traffic control centre.
