Lithuanian Air Force transport plane Spartan carrying seven Ukrainian soldiers injured during anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine is landing at Vilnius International Airport on Friday evening.

The injured will be treated in Military Rehabilitation Centre in Druskininkai and other Lithuanian civil health care institutions on the request of Ukraine.

Ukrainians will be accompanied from Kiev to Vilnius by a Lithuanian military paramedic. The injured will be met at Vilnius International Airport and transported to treatment and rehabilitation institutions by the Military Medical Service's and civil ambulances.

The Movement Control Centre of the Lithuanian Armed Forces is providing mediation services as regards customs and border procedures when injured Ukrainian soldiers are flown to Lithuania.
