Green Party has re-elected member of parliament Linas Balsys as its chairman. He has headed the Lithuanian party for two years.

The fourth congress of the Green Party took place this weekend. Well-known proponent of green energy Remigijus Lapinskas was re-elected as chairman of the party's Council.

The party congress also elected a number of experts in various fields, representatives of non-governmental organisations and public figures into the board.
