Lithuania's coronavirus case count rises to 299

A total of 299 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Lithuania as of Thursday evening, the Health Ministry said.

Four patients have died from COVID-19 and one has recovered.

Over 4,320 coronavirus tests have been carried out in the country so far, including 849 on Wednesday.

In an effort to slow the spread of the virus, the government on Wednesday extended the nationwide quarantine, originally imposed on March 16, for another week until April 13.
