Conservative MP Mantas Dr Adomėnas, the organizer of the campaign, said the participants stood with the part of the Georgian nation that would not be at ease until recovering their home country in full.

“Today we demonstrate that we have not forgotten and we will not forget our Georgian friends who live in a country torn apart by the Russian occupation. As the world watches on, the occupying forces nightly push the demarcation signs deeper and deeper into the Georgian territory, expanding the occupied territory and threatening to cut the country in two”, - said MP Adomėnas. "We are inviting Europe to wake up and realize what's going on – it is not weapons that we lack, we lack political will," MP Adomėnas continued.

Tina Getija, a Georgian national living in Lithuania for 48 years, said during the event that she could not safely visit her father's grave, adding that people who had been forced to flee their homes still hoped for justice to be restored.
