A Lithuanian-run heating company in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk came under fire on Friday night. Artemovsk Energiya, part of the Lithuanian E Energija group, provides heating for Artemovsk. It sustained minor damage during the incident.

"We came out of it relatively undamaged. Some gas systems providing fuel to private houses were damaged more, however," Vaidas Povilėnas, head of Artemovsk Energiya told the national radio LRT.

In his words, two people, including a child, were killed and seven people were injured during the attack.

Artemovsk Energiya, part of the Vilnius-based E Energija group having also the European Reconstruction and Development Bank among its shareholders. It has operated in Ukraine since 2007.
