In a declaration of private interests submitted in late December, Grybauskaitė said that the deal to purchase the land had been finalized. The size of the plot has not been disclosed.

"The president's decision has not changed – she will move out of the Turniškės residence after expiry of her term. The president has purchased a land site in the Bajorų Parkas project – the deal has been declared in accordance to the law," cited presidential spokeswoman Daiva Ulbinaitė as saying.
