Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė on Monday congratulated Queen Elizabeth II on the birth of her third great-grandchild.

"On behalf of the Lithuanian people and on her own behalf, she wished much health to Duchess Catherine and the newborn baby as well as continued success and happiness to the Royal Family," Grybauskaitė's press office said in a press release.

"On this joyful occasion, the President sent her best wishes for the prosperity and well-being of the people of the United Kingdom," it said.
