The Lithuanian Navy's ship Kuršis will attend events of the NATO summit in Wales, the Defence Ministry said on Monday.

On 4-8 September, Kuršis will dock at the Cardiff seaport, which will also host ships from France, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway and the United Kingdom.

During the stay in Cardiff, Kuršis should be visited by Lithuania's Defence Minister Juozas Olekas, Lithuanian Chief of Defence Major General Jonas Vytautas Žukas and other persons attending the NATO summit.

Members of the Kuršis crew will participate in cultural and social events held in the framework of the meeting.
