“Vilnius has to mobilize everyone to become even better so that more and more people would discover us, attract more investments for better jobs and a better future for Vilnius. Antanas is as an ambassador representing Vilnius to the investors. He has already helped me by inviting some of companies to Vilnius,” said Šimašius.

Public assistants are not paid for their duties. Mayor Šimašius' public advisors team already includes Jacek Jan Komar (Polish minority issues), Paulius Martinkus (management of municipal companies), Rimantas Micka (local communities issues), Jurga Tapinienė (public relations), and Daniel Liupshitz (Jewish community affairs).
