"This brutal act of violence, which marred the end of the holy month of Ramadan for all the faithful and was directed against innocent people, cannot be justified," Grybauskaite said.

"We are deeply shocked by the brutal act of terror in Baghdad, which claimed many innocent lives. This deadly attack is yet another reminder to us that we must join forces in the fight against terrorism and radicalism," the speaker of the parliament said.
