The money comes from the government reserve. In October, the Lithuanian government allocated EUR 100,000 for the purpose.

There are now 15 Ukrainian schoolchildren from the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Luhansk, receiving education at Vilnius Lithuanians' House until the end of this academic year. They are accompanied by two teachers.

Also, eight children and one teacher came to Lithuania in October, and seven more with an accompanying teacher arrived in February.
