On Friday, Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs Neris Germanas, Rolandas Kriščiūnas, Andrius Krivas and Vytautas Leškevičius submitted resignation letters to Minister Linas Linkevičius.

This is the continuation of the ruling majority's idea to dismiss all deputy ministers before the Government returns powers to re-elected President Dalia Grybauskaitė.

The Ministries of Culture, Education and Science, Economy, Justice, Social Security and Labour, the Interior, Transport and Communications, and Environment approved resignation of deputy ministers earlier.
