Lithuania is choosing infantry fighting vehicles from two offers, says Chief of Defence Lieutenant General Jonas Vytautas Žukas.

In his words, the discussions are currently held "on the political level".

"No decisions have been made yet, we will probably choose between two suppliers," Žukas told LNK TV news on Thursday evening but refused to specify the suppliers.

In July, media reported that Lithuania had chosen German Boxers, but the final decision was not then announced.

Acquisition of armoured vehicles should be the biggest deal in the history of Lithuania's Armed Forces.
