Lithuania will send 15 members of its parliament to observe the forthcoming general elections in Ukraine in late October, Speaker of the Seimas Loreta Graužinienė said after meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kiev on Friday.

"The decision has been made to send 15 lawmakers," she told BNS on Saturday.

In her words, the issue was discussed during the meeting with Poroshenko, also attended by the speakers of the Polish, Swedish, Irish as well as the vice-speaker of the Danish parliament.
