Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė has submitted to the parliament for ratification a Lithuanian-Polish treaty that would finish formalities related to the establishment of the Lithuanian-Polish border.

The Lithuanian and Polish president signed the treaty in February.

The Lithuanian-Polish border was finally established in 1996 but the treaty envisaged an additional legal agreement that would legally finalize the border establishment process.
