Lithuania has opened a new honorary consulate in Strasbourg, its seventh in France, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday.

The Strasbourg honorary consulate is headed by Francis Hirn, editor-in-chief of the Alsace regional newspaper Dernieres Nouvelles d’Alsace.

Lithuania also has honorary consulates in the cities of Angers, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Rouen and Troyes.
