On 16 June, last members of the 92nd Jaeger Battalion of the Bundeswehr deployed in Lithuania for combined training left for home. As part of the agreed NATO measures of deterrence over 200 German soldiers were conducting combined training and exercises for three months with soldiers from Lithuania and other NATO allies, Lithuania's Ministry of National Defence said.

Divisions of the Logistics Command of the Lithuanian Armed Forces were responsible for a fluent conduct of the logistical operation of sending military personnel and equipment back to their permanent base in Donaueschingen, Germany. The entire operation involved redeployment of 80 military vehicles and 25 sea containers with load.

The Lithuanian Armed Forces ensures an operative and appropriate redeployment of NATO's military elements taking part in military cooperation events in Lithuania and coordinates Host Nation Support through close cooperation with non-military state institutions.
