Landsbergis nominated for Foreign minister

Candidate for Lithuania's prime minister Ingrida Simonyte has on Wednesday announced she's nominating Gabrielius Landsbergis, leader of the conservative Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats, for the position of foreign minister.

Ausrine Armonaite, leader of the Freedom Party, is being proposed for economy minister, and Arunas Dulkys, the country's former auditor general, is being proposed for health minister.

Simonyte presented her list of candidates after her Wednesday meeting with President Gitanas Nauseda, adding that there's no final agreement with the president on these candidates yet.

Gintaree Skaistee (HU-LCD) - finance

Jurgita Siugzdinienė (HU-LCD) – education.

A candidate for agriculture minister has not been named yet.
