Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė will attend a working dinner with US President Barack Obama and other heads of state at the White House to discuss ways to prevent nuclear terrorism threats on Thursday.

Washington is hosting the fourth Nuclear Security Summit, which will bring together delegations from 52 countries.

Later during her visit, the Lithuanian president will also take part in a discussion on ensuring the protection and safety of nuclear materials and facilities, promoting nuclear safety culture and reinforcing the commitments of states to global nuclear security.

Grybauskaitė will also be interviewed by CNN and during her working visit to Washington, Grybauskaitė will meet with the Lithuanian American community at a Sunday-after-Easter festival as well.
