"We don’t have exponential growth but we see the number of cases growing with every week. And that means the existing measures that are being applied right now are really insufficient," Veryga told a press conference on Friday.
In his words, the lockdown conditions will be reviewed by the government's COVID-19 management committee on Monday.
"We will discuss what new measures would be needed and could be taken for the case number to start going down," he said.
The committee will look into measures related to work regulation, the minister said. "We will consider measures for workplaces and what we could tighten, including remote working, mask wearing not only where clients are served but also while talking to colleagues," Veryga said.
In his words, the issue of remote reduction will be raised once again, and also a proposal will be considered to renounce or delay planned exceptions to the quarantine rules.
"We will propose on Monday to delay the exceptions for museums and other cultural establishments coming into force as really there's bad time for such phenomena," he said.
Under the previously approved rules, museums and galleries would be allowed to accept groups of no more than two people from December 10, and also excursions with no more than two participants, excluding family members, would have been allowed.
