Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis said on Wednesday these businesses would be allowed to reopen if they would be able to control client flows and serve one customer at a time. These businesses will have to comply with all safety requirements.

Deputy Economy and Innovation Minister Marius Skuodis told BNS that beauty salons, outdoor cafes and sports clubs would not be able to reopen at this stage, with plans to allow them to return to work later.

A nationwide quarantine, introduced on March 16, is set to remain in place at least through April 27.
