Four Ukrainian troops who were injured in eastern Ukraine, where the Ukrainian army is carrying out an operation against pro-Russian insurgents, have come to Lithuania for rehabilitation.

Rasa Jakilaitienė, spokeswoman for the Lithuanian foreign minister, confirmed to BNS on Tuesday that the soldiers have arrived. Any communication with the press is not planned, she added.

Previously, Lithuania treated 22 Ukrainians who sustained injuries during protests in Kiev last year against the ten Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
