At the beginning of autumn, a new airline route will offer direct flights from Vilnius airport Lvov in western Ukraine.

The flights will be launched on September 16 and will be continued throughout the year.

“This route will improve Lithuania‘s communication with Ukraine - it is the third destination in this country. It will provide an opportunity to directly reach western Ukraine and the people of the region will have a better opportunity to visit our country,” said the Lithuanian Airports communications and marketing manager Indrė Baltrušaitienė.

There will now be four connections between Ukraine and Lithuania: from Vilnius Airport to Kiev, Odessa and Lvov and from Palanga Airport to Kiev.
