Robertas Dargis, businessman and president of the Lithuanian Industrialists' Confederation, said on Friday that he does not plan to run in next year's presidential election.

"No, I definitely won't run," he told reporters when asked if he would take part in the presidential race.

Dargis said last September than he would not rule out running in the election under the right circumstances.

Lithuania will elect its next president in May 2019.
