Social Democrat Vilija Blinkevičiūtė continues to rank as the most active Lithuanian member of the European Parliament and Waldemar Tomaszewski, leader of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania–Christian Families Alliance (EAPL-CFA), remains the least active, the daily Lietuvos Žinios reported on Tuesday, citing data from Mepranking.eu.

Blinkevičiūtė has an activity score of 81.4 points, ranking 107th out of 751 MEPs, with 1,060 speeches in plenary, 211 motions, 184 questions and almost 600 explanations of votes.

Liberal Petras Auštrevičius comes second among Lithuania's MEPs, followed in third place by Rolandas Paksas of the Order and Justice Party.

Tomaszewski's activity score is a mere 2 points, with 126 motions, 11 questions and 124 speeches in plenary.
