On Saturday morning the mayor of Klaipeda Vytautas Grubliauskas on his Facebook profile announced that in Hospital of Klaipeda there is one more person with coronavirus. According to him, the patient is from the town of Kretinga.

The Ministry of Health also announced the new coronavirus case in Lithuania.

As the mayor of Klaipeda says in his post, a new case was confirmed in Klaipeda. The patient is a young student that arrived from Denmark to Vilnius on 10th March. From Vilnius, he travelled to his hometown by bus.

On Saturday afternoon Lithuanian government announced about another confirmed case in the country. This time the positive test came from a man in Vilnius who recently visited Italy. This is the 8th case of coronavirus in Lithuania.
