Fifteen Ukrainian children from families that have been affected by ongoing military action in eastern Ukraine are to arrive in Lithuania by the end of the year, BNS reports.

According to the Ministry of Education, the government has set aside EUR 25,300 to cover their education and living expenses in Lithuania.

The children and one accompanying teacher will be accommodated at the Lithuanian House in Vilnius which currently houses 22 children from eastern Ukraine.
