Estonian Pilkku Aasma was appointed this month as Microsoft Devices Group Operations Manager, which means that she is CEO Stephen Elop's right-hand person, who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, Delfi reports.

Pilkku Aasma has worked in the Microsoft system for the past 15 years. In 2000, she started in the anti-piracy department in Estonia. In 2005, she became director of SMS & P in Ukraine, then she went to SMS & P in Germany where since 2011 she was head of the anti-piracy department.

Now, however, she moved to Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond, the United States.
