"In Kaunas and Žalgiris, I have the best conditions for improvement as a coach. This is my home, this is homeland. My family and I we feel respected and loved here," Jasikevičius said in a press release.

The coach last season led Žalgiris to win the Lithuanian Basketball League and to its third-place finish in the Euroleague.

Jasikevičius declined an offer by the Toronto Raptors to join the NBA team as a coach.
